Attorney Profile

J. Allison Archbold

Allison moved to Florida from upstate New York when she was five. She attended high school at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, and college at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. After college, she fled the cold and returned to the Sunshine State to attend law school at the University of Miami. After law school Allison served for over eight years as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Okinawa, Japan. While in the Marine Corps, she learned that she loved assisting Marines and their families with their estate planning, so after leaving the Corps in 2006, she returned to the University of Miami to obtain a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning. Upon graduation in 2007 she moved to Sarasota to work at Fergeson Skipper, P.A., where she remained until she started the Archbold Law Firm, P.A. at the end of 2017.

Allison spends her free time enjoying Sarasota’s rich arts and restaurants scene, visiting Selby Gardens, and caring for her “fur children.”
